Prices and conditionsA clear stay, designed around each dog's well-being
One simple, all-inclusive price, and a few conditions of stay that keep the house in harmony. Everything is explained before the first stay, so that you can leave with peace of mind.
One simple price, everything included
Stays start from 25 euros per night, all inclusive. Stays are charged by the night. The day of arrival and the day of departure are both charged, whatever the drop-off and collection times.
The daily rate covers accommodation in the house and food (premium Pro Plan Purina kibble provided by the boarding home), with meals adapted to each dog's age and weight.
Three steps to get to know each other
La Pension des Cabots is a family boarding home with no cages, where the family and four-legged friends live together. To preserve this harmony, it is reserved for sociable dogs, and every stay begins with a proper introduction.
The phone call
You arrange an appointment by phone. This first conversation is a chance to get to know each other and to understand your dog better: their character, their habits, their way of life.
The first visit
If your dog meets the house's criteria, we arrange a visit. Your dog finds their bearings gently, to avoid any stress during their first stay, and you get to see the boarding home.
Registration
If the visit goes well, a registration form is filled in and the dates of the stay are set in the schedule. The boarding home reserves the right not to accept a dog who would not be happy there.
Our conditions of stay
Acceptance and refusal of dogs
La Pension des Cabots is a family boarding home with no cages. The family and four-legged friends live there together, so harmony in daily life has to be preserved. For this reason, the boarding home is exclusively for sociable dogs. We reserve the right not to accept dogs that are aggressive, prone to running away, destructive or that bark too much (noise nuisance), as well as unspayed females, Category 1 and Category 2 dogs (French dangerous dog classification) and uncastrated males.
Health
Every guest dog must be up to date with their vaccinations (kennel cough, etc.), identified (tattoo or microchip), wormed, treated against fleas, ticks and leishmaniasis, and arrive with their health record and identification card. In the event of illness, accident or injury during the stay, the owner authorises La Pension des Cabots to arrange any treatment deemed necessary by the boarding home's vet. The cost of treatment is paid by the owner and an invoice is issued by the vet. Dogs arriving ill and contagious (kennel cough or gastroenteritis) are not accepted. The boarding home accepts no liability in the event of the animal's death.
Liability
The owner, who must hold third-party liability insurance for all their dogs, remains responsible for any damage their animals may cause during their stay. Boarding a dog does not transfer liability. The boarding home accepts no liability should a dog run away, which is highly unlikely given the facilities and the precautions in place.
Length of stay
The owner undertakes to respect the stated dates of the stay. Any extension must be reported to the boarding home. At registration, the phone number of a third party is requested, in case the owners cannot be reached. Without news from the owner or this third party for more than fifteen days, the animal will be considered abandoned and placed with an animal protection organisation, and legal action will be taken.
Personal belongings
The boarding home accepts personal belongings (mat, basket, lead, etc.) but accepts no liability if they are damaged. Belongings must be marked with the owner's name.
Billing
The daily rate includes accommodation and food in the form of kibble (premium Pro Plan Purina) provided by the boarding home. Each guest dog receives daily meals suited to their age and weight. If a different food is preferred, the owner provides it in sufficient quantity, and the daily rate stays the same. Without a gradual change of diet, the animal may suffer digestive upsets, for which the boarding home cannot be held responsible. The day of arrival and the day of departure are charged whatever the drop-off and collection times. Medical and surgical costs, and the cost of any damage to the premises, are paid by the owner.
Let's talk about your dog's stay
The best way is to talk it over in person. We answer all your questions and arrange a first visit.
